The UCL Institute of Health Equity
The Institute of Health Equity includes research into the social determinants of health and recommendations to reduce health inequalities.

The aim is to develop and support approaches to health equity and build on work that has assessed, measured and implemented approaches to tackle inequalities in health.

PHE Data Analysis & Tools
Public Health England (PHE) provides many high quality data and analysis tools and resources for public health professionals. The PHE data and knowledge gateway provides direct access to these resources.

The resources help local government and health service professionals make decisions and plans to improve people’s health and reduce inequalities in their area. They can be used by anyone with an interest in understanding the health of the population and how it varies across the country.

Food Environment Assessment Tool
The Food environment assessment tool (Feat) has been developed by CEDAR and the MRC Epidemiology Unit at the University of Cambridge. It allows for detailed exploration of the geography of food retail access across England.
