Lifestyle Behaviour Change

I teach 3rd year BSc Psychology undergraduates about the role of health psychology in lifestyle behaviour change. This includes designing and evaluating interventions.

Health & Society

I teach MSc Health Psychology and MSc Clinical & Health Psychology students about the link between society and health. I teach such things as health inequalities, the effect of neighbourhood and gender on health, and vulnerable groups and social exclusion. This includes the role of health psychology in understanding and improving health outcomes.

Student Projects

I supervise both BSc Psychology and MSc Health Psychology / Clinical & Health students on projects related to behaviour change and health psychology.

This includes randomised controlled trials of behaviour change techniques, exploring health related identities and exploring use of behaviour change techniques in the general public.
